Subject	Reabuilding differential Question

Message	I am going to be doing a subframe overhaul on my car around summer time (must enjoy the car for a little bit first) and one of the things that I am going to do while the subframe is dropped is have my differential rebuilt with the Leader gears on my carpet. I have bought the gears and all the necessary parts for the rebuild like the bearings and crush coller ect. The only part that would still have 100k miles on it would be the actual main LSD unit itself. I was wondering, if it would be necessary to go ahead and replace this unit while I'm at it with a new OEM unit or something such as the Quaife unit. I plan on having around 550 rwhp on pump gas maybe like 600 race 650 something..whatever, and am just concerned about my car being able to hold the power with the original unit, even though everything else will be rebuilt. Money is not an issue on this, but I obviously don't want to blow $1900 on something that I do not need at all. I have never been a track junkie with this car and never will be, but I do plan on driving it everyday and driving the piss out of it heh, and would love to make some track events locally, so please everyone give me your thoughts on this. Should I #1. Just stop worry, and stick with the 100k unit during the rebuild..it's plenty strong, #2 Buy the Quaife unit for the rebuild, or #3 buy a new OEM unit for the rebuild..which is about the same price by the way as the Quaife unit. For what it's worth a couple people that I have talked to already about this has said that 100k miles on my stock LSD is nothing and I don't need to get anything new for it. However, I just wanted to post this question to get a broader view on this question and to finally help me decide weather to drop the cash or just keep it in my pocket.
