Do you not agree with the performance benefits? Is safety the concern? Or, is it just money wasted that you are not investing in real estate, home improvement, 401K, (roth)IRA, ect? I'm a bit curious - when is the last time you added any major performance upgrades to your car? I honestly have no idea, you could have upgraded your turbos last month, maybe I don't know.
As I'm sure you can tell, I am trying to gauge how truly interested in performance you are these days (since you claim to be above).
If it has been sometime - why? Are you 100% satisfied with your cars performance or is it that you (admittedly smartly) decided the money is better used on investments? Just curious Kenny, because -believe it or not- I DO value your opinion on technical matter such as these. It is just that I get the impression that you seem to be overly harsh with people who, in your eyes, are spending too much money on their cars and not enough money on investments. While that may or may not be true in any case - you come off as being more interested in investments than you really are in improving the performance of your car - at least in the recent past. If I am off base or should just mind my own business? Eitherway is fine as can certainly appreciate that perspective, and will glady just go back to minding my own business. BTW, "real interest" is not a problem as you can see we are getting the lowest possible price. I am just a bit surprised that more people aren't jumping on board, that's all.
