Message the heat itself actually ignites the fuel before the spark goes off...

So, a copper plug will melt down fast compared to a platinum plug.

I didn't mean that it would immune the car to detonation, I am just saying..

ie. If I get my Z tuned running 30psi of boost,100shot of direct n20 (900psi bottle pressure), and it is 75* out with 40% humidity...

when I take it to the track the conditions will most likely not be the exact same... so it would cause a different tune..

I will be running dual widebands, dual EGTs, etc etc.

It is just safer to run them if going all out for drag racing or similar because all it takes is a different situation for the engine to blow.. and I will have LOTS of money in my motor that I am building..

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
