Sorry man, I suppose if I had to pick a piece of glass to walk out to find busted it would be the windshield though, so there is a bit of a silver lining here. I went with aftermarket on my previous Z, I really could not think of a really serious reason why not to. The Z has proven itself to be a pretty stout car in collisions from the posts I have seen here, and has ample restraints to keep your noggin out of the windshield, I lean towards saying OEM is overkill and overpriced. I wouldnt mess with Geico if I absolutely didnt have to, I'd rather go with filin a claim when you really need it, that way if they screw you over it with premium hikes at least you got a good claim out of them before you ship off to another company.
