without dropping the tranny on my '90 5 speed. I did pull the brake m/c, tho. I also cut and bent a 13mm wrench to get the two bolts off the bottom of the pre-cat. Was a miserable experience, but they eventually came free. TTXTZ used the ratcheting wrenches, I didn't have that option at the time. Good luck, it can be done! Regards,
