Message	neither are the gas companies... Its all the gov'ts fault- OPEC is simply producing enough oil projected by the amount of useage so there won't be a surplus- smart business sense- The gas companies get about 2-3 cents a gallon profit- The gov't gets 20 cents for every gallon due to taxing the gas and for the importation of the oil- The US has the recources to produce its own oil/gas supply- It's those damn environmentalists that had the drilling for oil stopped in the US- Add that to a president that was an environmentalist (clinton) and you get high gas prices- If you boycott anything, boycott the gov't :) so they can stop being so dependant on OPEC and stop listening to those environmentalist yuppies- its wierd how everyone blames OPEC and not the gov't... sorry for the long post, I did an essay on this for my business class...
