| I can add a little to it though: The fan setups I have seen before use fans that draw a good bit more current than the fans I have tested and none of the previous setups had a shroud. The shroud I have put together for the Koyo fits like a glove and will come with an adhesive foam strip for making it a virtually air-tight seal, maximizing the fan's ability to pull air through the rad core. The new 3000CFM fan for this kit draws only 11.5A, of which is no problem for the charging system. Times change, ideas change. I have not previously been an advocate of the electric fan setups for the reasons I mentioned but after constructing a system with the idea of addressing these known problems, I feel confident that we have a system that will perform as it should.
