:Guys/Gals :I had posted earlier Here about my porting project. :In an attempt to avoid a thousand dollar port job, and my normal drive to save money by doing things on my own, I undertook the duty of porting my heads. :12 hours later, one head is done, here are my results. I know these arent going to resemble heads you could get from a racing company, or for thousands of dollars of labor, but they should do decent over stock. :stock exhaust : :ported exhaust & gasket matched : : :stock intake : :ported intake : : :So far the only tools I've used are a die grinder, 3 carbide bits i purhcased (1 egg, 1 cone, and 1 ball shaped) and a deluxe porting kit from Standard Abrasives :I will be adding JWT 500 series cams and springs, and having the machine shop (per advice of some fellow Z'ers) a 30 degree back-cut with a 3 angle job :
