| Clear front corner lenses. Went to the inspection lanes in New Castle yesterday and was failed due to my car having clear front corner lenses. I told the guy there that they light up amber in color and he said it does'nt matter. My car does'nt have the rear j-specs but I can imagine what they'll think of those... I've had my Z for over 6 years ( at least 3 or 4 of those with the clears) and I've been going through this same location for inspection the whole time...and have never had a problem so I can only assume for some reason,the state is cracking down on these types of cosmetic mods. I have a buddy with a Dodge pickup who experienced the same thing at the same location. I was tempted to try a different location but it's a big hassle. So all you guys with clear corners and Clear taillights,it's in your best interest to devise a "Plan B" in case this happens to you. They would'nt even test the emissions because the idle was too high (about 1350 rpm) so I have to do the whole thing over again...Oh yeah, I'm needing a set of stock corners..lol...I sold mine long ago...anyone that has a used set for cheap,email me.
