Message The Sport SMICs will be produced from slightly smaller cores:

6.8"T, 8.0"W, 4.5"D

They are basically the same footprint as the MASSIVES, with the exception of being 2.4" shorter, heightwise.

They have cast aluminum endtanks and use full 2.0" inlets and outlets, mount with stock hardware, and use the OEM ducts. The cores are bar/plate design as well, so they offer the best efficiencies.

The idea is to offer a direct bolt-in intercooler upgrade for applications up to around 550RWHP. The groupbuy price will be offered at $750 and we'll be shooting for a minimum of 15 people.

This happens to be the same core size as the Z1 intercoolers I designed during my time with them. We performed a dyno shootout with them vs. the Stillen, Greddy, and Apollo FMIC a couple of years ago to show that they perform just as well as any other. I'm thinking that due to the design with the cast aluminum endtanks offering better aerodynamic characteristics, they will likely perform a little bit better.

The groupbuy will begin within the next 3-4 weeks - just after all of the MASSIVE SMIC orders have been shipped.
