Message You hafta take the plenum off to get to the fuel rail. The
hardest part is actually getting the injectors out of the
fuel rail without damaging them. You need to use some type
of spray lube to help loosen them up. Then cover the top of
the injector with a rag and *gently* try to twist them loose
with a pair of pliers. Alot of people will try to twist and
press up from the bottom of the injector at the same time.
Do not press directly on the bottom of the injector because you will screw up the "needle" that sticks out of the
bottom. Instead, get an oversized pen cap that will slide over the bottom of the injector and rest at the base of the
metal part. It sounds weird but you'll see what I mean once
you get there. Then just use the pen cap to press up on the
injector.
