I was driving a friends Z to work the other night. I had been working on it(Coilovers, front-rear adjustable Aarms, sway bars and Tension rods) plus since my Z is down it was nice to drive one again. Well, I was driving down the road and I see two cops, they had somone pulled over. I stopped at the light, then I turned and drove right by them. When I shifted from first to second and from second to third the blow off valves did what they do best. I get about 3/4 of a mile down the road and I see the cop pull out with his lights on. I'm thinking, this asshole surely isn't going to pull me over. Sure as the night is dark, he hauls ass up to my bumper. I put my turn signal on and get in the right lane. He immediately turns on his lights, so I pull over. He comes up, we go through the drivers license and insurance routine( I can't find an insurance card in the car). I ask him why he pulled me over. He says," I'll tell you in a minute." Goes back to his car. He comes back and says," the reason I pulled you over, is because you were spinning your tires, we heard you twice, both me and my sgt." I could have laughed in his face, but I didn't. I said," No sir, That was the blow off valves. He just looked at me like I was stupid or something. He said we both heard you. I said,"No sir definitely not, that was the blow off valves for the turbos. He just walked back to his car and his sgt. pulled up. I waited about 5 minute or so and he come back and hands me my license. and says,"it may very well have been those blow off valves you were talking about, but you need to slow it down, you were going entirely to fast. Speed limit was 45 and I never passed it. I'm thinking shut the fuck up and let me go you dumbass.He had no clue. Never seen a High horse power turbo car in his life! The sad thing is if he would have given me a ticket I would not have had a chance in court, and knowing that and my temper he probably would have had to haul my ass to jail. Kicking all the way! I thought it was sort of funny after it was all over with. I thought I would share. Hope you got a laugh out of it! later Michael
