Message	or enlongate the existing ones. If the power antenna bothers you, I recommend not hooking it up. I got the same reception using the factory glass one. And I didn't need an antenna adapter of any sort...if you follow the antenna plug down a few inches, there *should* be a removable "Y" giving you a plug that fits. That's how it was when I removed my factory Bose headunit anyway. It's so easy you'll laugh at yourself when you're done
