Message Good luck in your search. I am a newbie too. I bought a 93 NA 2+2 in Dec 05 I wasn't looking for a car a the time I was out with my girlfriend who was looking for a car at the time. I really hadn't seen many 90-96 Zs (not even enough to have remembered seeing one) if you can believe it I didn't know what it was until I walked around to the back of it but I knew I liked it. The following week i came back by and test drove it after I test drove it I bought it on the spot! Lets just say I got really lucky after all I have read on this site that can be wrong with one poorly maintained. Mine is bone stock but had been taken care of I did the 120k, slave cylinder, alternator, rear tranny mount, front brakes, rear main seal, and front tranny seal. Car runs like a top now no leaks I have never driven a car like it I absolutely love it! I can't even imagine what a twin turbo must be like. You can't go wrong with this site these guys are great I have been pouring over it for the last 3 months learning about trouble spots and all kinds of other good stuff. I got all my work done at a Ni$$an dealer recommended by a friend. They did a good job but it is little stuff they forget. Double check your car every time you get it back from a shop. I bought a big shop jack and some jack stands [some of the best money you can spend ] I found a loose bolt on a support for the front of the tranny and they didn't put the reverse light connector back together. Also get a factory service manual it is an absoulte must I found one on ebay.
