That being said, the MAF reads less mass at higher altitude, so the ECU tells the injectors to inject less fuel. Less oxygen (due to lower ambient pressure), less fuel (due to the ECU reading the mass airflow via the MAF and seeing that it needs less fuel than it would at sea level) same A/F (theoretically). It's that simple.
