I guess my main confusion was because I thought the MAF only measured flow and was not able to correct for the actual molar amount, or mass, of the oxygen present. So, I assume that the only real difference between a z32 at high altitude and one at low altitude would mean that the higher altidude Z would have to ingest and expell more air than the same Z at a lower altitude (and also as you mentioned that there are lower grade fuels available in higher altitudes--we only have 91 octane here). So I guess it would be hard to say then which Z you could do more aggressive tuning on... that is, one with 93 octane at lower altitude or one with 91 at high altitude. I guess I will figure that out myself ;). Has anyone else ever discussed this issue before? I assume there a decent amount of Z owners in Denver which has a similar situation.
