| ...unless the event coordinators are negligent! A road course rewards your ability to be consistent and aware. Can you remember your turn-in point from the previous lap? Was the previous lap faster than the lap before that? Can you even turn the way you did last time? Are you driving too fast or too slow through this section? Be consistent and aware and you will improve. Listen to your instructor! People here are averse to the wide body for the same reason they are averse to big wings. Aesthetic tyranny. They hate to see the lines of the Z changed in any significant way, unless it is for bona fide racing purposes. With as many taste-challenged cars as we've seen posted here, with no interest in being fast (just with "looking fast"), you can at least see where they're coming from. IMO there will be no handling issues from the widebody that can't be addressed with suspension parts. If you can do that, there will be significant handling advantages to the widebody.
