I was over at my Z shop in Virginia (having the diff fluid changed) and while I was standing there chatting with the guys one of the chief mechanics calls me over to show me something.(For those who don't know, radar detectors are illegal in Virginia...) Anyway, he pulls in a 94' convertible and tells me to sit in the driver's seat and turn the key on. When I do I hear the beeping of a radar detector coming from the middle of the dash. At first I hadn't a clue where it was coming from, until I caught a faint flash of red. It was one of the higher end units with the separate display and control pod, and the guy had installed it BEHIND the central air vents above the radio! The only way you'd ever see it is to be sitting in the car and know where to look. VERY slick. Anyone else ever seen it done that way? - RightD
