Message	:I think it is interesting that Specialty preps the block first, then sends individual cylinder measurements to Ross who then manufactures the pistons to those individual specs for the best possible tolerances (within reason I'm sure). :Waiting for the pistons slowed up the build a bit, but it just gave me time to save up more $$$ so I can't complain. Which is a complete waste of time - if you over bore it's just as easy to hit the tolerences on the block side. Different size pistons will swell to different sizes under heat - not a good thing. Better to have the same size slugs and alter the bore to them - if needed.
