Message I started off very friendly with my body shop as well, but the more aftermarket body parts I gave him, the more he'd get irritated. The breaking point was definitely the Kaminari wing that made him regret ever getting into the bodywork business. He installed and primed it, but it was horribly out of alignment, and he insisted that was the best he could do with this part. I was able to pursuade him to spend an extra few hours making it right, and molding the edges straight...which he reluctantly did. Once he saw the result, he agreed that the extra work was worthwhile.

The waviness in the door fillers is not due to poor installation, the parts most likely got warped during shipping. The only way to fix those is to sand the waves out and then repaint, that shouldn't take more than 2 hours of his time.

My side skirts were not mounted with double-sided tape, that's poor practice. They are glued with urethane body glue and riveted to the steel panels at 6 locations. Pay particular attention to riveting the edges, where the mudguards usually go.

As for your lip, I would leave that bumper alone and source a new JSpec or standard US bumper, and have him prime and paint it. Again, you're looking at a little extra money, but the color match would likely be perfect since he still has some of the paint handy.
