Message	some people definitely set a pseudo-reserve that way. Items without reserves always generate more bids than items with reserves. I have bought/sold a grand total of maybe 4 items off ebay and maybe spent a grand total of 300 bucks. But just perusing/browsing thru there now and again, this seems an obvious fact in my view. So dont harp me about this please, just bringing it to people's attention that some people do this practice in order to generate the bidding traffic without risking not meeting their reserve they have in mind. Just people using cleverness to manipulate a system to get a desired result. Ethics is a whole other ball of wax.
