Message ... in changing to a shorter hose and removing about 5ft of extra hose. Increasing the length of the intake tract with all that hose I'm running would surely cause a difference in idle RPM, no? Reading robo's CC removal, he hooked up a bypass hose from the drivers side TB nipple to the CC hookup on the balance tube. This increased his idle some (can't remember how much), but when he simply capped these, his idle went back to normal. Same concept here, right?

Aside from the idle issues, don't you think a shorter hose would offer faster valve response? A 3 foot hose compared to a 5 inch hose...
