The previous installer of where I work, would use one cable and split the brown and blue pairs for one computer (jack) and the green and orange pair for the other computer (jack). I know one pro for this method is less cables, but wouldn't it make the connection slower? I have started making and running cables for each computer. Instead of 2 computers sharing a cable..they now have their own. What are the con/pros to this method (splitting cable)? Is it better to have just one cable for each computer? Thanks
Seb
