Message well too - holding battery voltage at 14.0 all the time.

I didn't have time to run the lines for the power steering and I was tracking the car without it - I actually like the feel of it. You really get a better feel for the handling and the additional force to handle the steering wheel minimizes the effects of inertia steering (I made this term up, but what I am referring to is the weight of your arms that act to work against you when slinging the car around - also when the car starts to get sideways, just a little slip of the wheel through your hands gets her quickly back in check).

The only thing connected to the crank is the alternator; no water pump drive or mechanical fan drive.
