| Who knows if they've got what it takes to be a MSO. Providing phone and internet is a different beast than providing video services. AT&T tried it and lost billions. Its carcass was tossed around to be assimilated by SBC, one of its child companies. They are already compromising user privacy to get deals for services. I read they agreed to let ABC/ESPN/Disney know if any FIOS customer was transporting any of their copyrighted materials in agreements to get their library of channels & content. I certainly don't advocate any form of piracy but you can't deny that the high speed "broadband" most of us use today was built on top of a need for bandwidth. Until the recent wave of legal song/movie purchases there were very few of us with the legitimate need for high bandwidth at home. Time will tell if they can roll out these services and be profitable. I suspect not.
