Depends on the spoke design. Assuming this spoke is flat like the stock, stock front is 16x7.5"+45mm and the new front is 18x8"+38mm:1) 38 - 45 = |-7| = 7mm, the new wheel sticks out 8mm more, which in terms you have 8mm more clearance. 2) 8"- 7.5" = 0.5" = 12.7mm 12.7 / 2 = 6.35mm, The new wheel is 6.35mm wider on inner and outter side. 3) 7 + 6.35 = 13.35mm The new wheel has 13.35mm more clearance and sits 13.35mm furthur out. Simple?
