| Pete Conguindi's car had BRAND NEW Sport500s, both sets smoke around the 3000 mile marker and showed no signs prior. I would HARDLY classify 3000 mile turbos as worn out. Additionally, the 350Z's that have been turbocharged are all within the past few years - they will develop the same problem if the cats are removed, regardless of age. The issue goes back to what I originally stated about this yesterday: it has to do with the small variations from one turbo to another as to whether or not it will smoke without any backpressure. Some will work fine, some will smoke.
