Message Here are some pics for those that care. Thanks for checking them out. Not bad progress for 1 week of work.

Front. Red line just shows how it will be lower and look proper on the sides once the Kaminari side skirts are fitted on. The rear fender flares match the look of the front fender flares very well. By the way, my wider front fenders can be bought at splparts.com for a very good price.

Driver's side. No gas door for now. That will obviously be added soon. Once again, nothing is welded yet. All fitting must be done BEFORE that. Anyways, the blue line shows the flat part that MUST be kept when doing a widebody to make things look right.

Rear. Still doing work back here..especially in the red area. Also, one thing that Greg noticed is that the passenger side exhaust hole on the kaminari bumper is actually 0.75 inches wider than the other side. Kinda effed up for a part that cost $500. He is going to be fixing that for me. Tires are currently only 285s. Once I burn off this rubber, I'm mailing my wheels to an excellent shop up in Michigan where they will be widening them for my 355s sitting back in my garage.

Side veiw. The red lines show how the circle of the wheel well is now not a perfect circle and how they are going to be pulled in to those areas to make them so. Green line shows the flat part that will be cut off then moved in slightly then attached back onto the fiberglass bumper via fiberglass. THIS BUMPER WILL NOT BE MOLDED ON. That only makes things crack off later down the road. I'm stressing on keeping this car a car that I can still drive everyday if I chose to. Fiberglass is only being molded on to fiberglass and metal is only being molded onto metal. As long as you keep things the same, then you should not have any cracking issues. Blue lines show how the side skirts will make the bottom there match the bottom of the rear bumper as far as height goes. Light blue arrows just show how nothing lines up perfect yet, but thats obviously the case since nothing is bolted up nor propperly fixed yet. The bumper has only been on the car 2 days as of today. He works damn fast and good. Yellow line shows how I am keeping the existing body line.

Next week, we will be modifying these just like the rear bumper is getting done now to make them fit with the widebody as well as to keep them from cracking as many other cars out there do when installing these.

Now lets take a moment to say that these guys kick ass right across the damn road from a body/paint shop! ugh. Everyday, Greg is bitching about them working now haha. I'm sure it's a anoying having all that dust by a body shop.

PLEASE STIR THAT DUST UP! lol.

Thanks,
Mike
