Consider it the forum's filter: if you aren't mature enough to just let it roll off your back, you probably wont tend to stick around for long. This site has many resources other than the general forum though. The technical message forum has about a tenth of the common social dynamic (drama) found in the general forum and the tech docs, FAQ, and classified pages are non-interactive. If the general forum social bit gets under your skin, grow some thicker skin and have fun in the banter.
