Message The original, the Vector W2, had a V12 motor and an automatic tranny. 1st gear was good for 92 mph., 2nd something astronomical, and 3rd was good for 238 mph. But, on paper, like a lot of their claims were. This was, I believe, in a Car & Driver from 1980 or 1981. The newer ones, of course, were much nicer with the V8TT.
Also, as recently as circa 1994, the company was taken over in a hostile event. The owner literally locked himself in his office, before finally being removed probably by police officers. Now, that's passion for automobiles! The company was relocated from Venice, CA, to Florida. I don't know if they even exist anymore. Too bad, too.
