:I have telephoto I used with my film rebel, however the EFs mount makes it unuseable for most of what I try, so I stick with the kit lense most of the time, it pains me when I see the photos I have taken with my telephoto because they are much sharper.
:As far as fill flash, ya. I played with it on some of the shots and was un impressed by the results. I really need to buy an external flash, but once again that equiates to $$.But the external flash is worth it, especially for indoor shots when you have friends over. If you use your camera on a consistent basis, the 420 or 430EX is well worth the ~ $170-200. On another server, someone asked if an external flash was worth the money so I took a few shots.
