I have telephoto I used with my film rebel, however the EFs mount makes it unuseable for most of what I try, so I stick with the kit lense most of the time, it pains me when I see the photos I have taken with my telephoto because they are much sharper. As far as fill flash, ya. I played with it on some of the shots and was un impressed by the results. I really need to buy an external flash, but once again that equiates to $$.
