I ended up just cleaning the subframe - it was dirty, but had a very good finish underneath. I took a wire brush/drill attachment to the diffy and gave it a quick spray with some hi-temp paint. The main reason I installed the bushings, aside from the fact that I had teh ES master kit in my basement for a year was that I had a ton of down-time when the engine was out. I also fully removed the HICAS, so I had to play around back there anyway. Great work with yours, though.
