Thus the curve or at least a further slant (not simply a shift). Call it semantics if you want to, but these are important differences.You said curve then, now you say slant. The lines will not curve. They will shift to the right, and possibly increase slant angle - but they will not curve. This is because the engine rpm scale is linear, as is the engines ability to consume air, using the simple formula that was initally use to plot out the equation. A more accurate formula would yield fundamentally different results. Good luck figuring out what it is though. I notice you didn't comment on THIS post in the thread. Very perceptive.
