other event driven system isn't terribly difficult to implement into the ZEM. It has a slew of digital outputs (which can be used to control relays) as well as two analog outputs(waveform generation capable) as well. The only caveat to this is that you would need the laptop in the vehicle to accomodate this. It will work great for setups similar to what I have in my Z with a permanently mounted PC, but not everyone is going to want to go this route. I have considered the possibility of developing a small "biscuit" pc into the setup that could work in the background and operate these functions, however, the cost of doing it that way starts to become prohibitively expensive. The key is going to be in modifying the code in the ECU that controls certain outputs such as the AIV output, PRVR output, EGR output, etc. This would allow us to use these outputs for other control like N2O, WI, etc etc and it would not require the laptop to be connected for these features to be enabled. The ZEM would then be used to configure the control sequences such as what throttle position and airflow you want the nitrous injection to be delivered. This is certainly possible - just going to take some time to develop. This is really the direction I want to go with it and will be doing so in the near future. Having my car back on the road is going to allow me to make this progress. :) I appreciate you taking the time to snap some pics of those tips - looking forward to seeing them. Thanks!
