Last Friday I installed the Stillen rear sway bar on the Z. I couldn't believe the difference in the tightness of the suspension as opposed to the OEM sway. The install took about 1-¾ hours and was easier than expected. I also didn’t find it necessary to drop the entire exhaust since I read that Bernie does the job by only unbolting the three hangers for only one side of the exhaust. Since then the Z has developed a strange squeak that sounds as if it could be coming from the drive shaft/center carrier bearing because the squeak goes up or down with the speed of the car. Any suggestions? I did search and there is some posting in regards to the urethane squeak but I believe that refers only to suspension travel? Could this be a vibration from the wheels/tires causing the bushings to move? Both tires were recently balanced and the problem wasn’t there before. The oem sways are complete junk compared to the Stillens (see comparison pics). Today was the front sway bar install and although I found it slightly more difficult than the rear it was still easier that first thought. I haven’t had time to drive much since it just started raining here in Philadelphia. Rear Sways…..
