Message so it can hold alot more power and usually the pedal pressure is very light, because instead of using alot of clamping force to hold the power, it simply uses a lighter clamping force but much more times the surface/friction area.

I believe that multi-disk clutches have a longer life expectancy as well.

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
