i run 4 3" pipes (one in each can). It flows very nicely. not too much louder than stillen and B&B. Only thing i learned was that by cutting the 3" louvered pipe to varying lengths, the sound was altered. The mesh and wadding you install also plays a roll in the sound. it's kinda like a silencer on a handgun. The longer the baffle tube the quieter the sound. with the 2 2.5" tubes, you will deffinitely flow more and since it's a bit of a bottleneck in the 3" line it will casue a bit of pressure, but that's what you want in the canister.
