| Well that was the plan anyway, until Zluster invited everyone over for a get together at my place. Lol, bastard. But after everyone left I was able to get the car finished up and given back to the owner that night. Car was a non turbo with 60k on it. Here's a few pics of the work and some things I found. As you can see it had a good bit of build up on the water pipes.
Here's everything torn down. Luckly the crank gear slid right off. The crank pulley actually gave me a hard time. I had to go buy a larger gear puller as mine seemed to missing.
Here's the old timing belt. As you can see it had cracks all over it so it was good timing on replacing it. Personally it's the worst looking belt I've ever replaced.

I've posted similar pics of this before. This is why you should replace the VTC springs. They do wear out. These weren't as bad as others I have done, but you can still see the diff. New spring on the left, old on the right.

The owner complained the car took a lot longer to warm up than his TT does. I think this is why. You can see it's stuck open a little.
 Here's everything going back together
Cleaned off the build up on the waters pipes. Put on the new belts. Checked the timing. She's good to go.
Couple of other things I showed the owner: The bottom of one of the intake hoses had been folded over so I fixed that for him.
And his cooling fan has some pretty bad cracks in it. Time to get a replacement.

Customer told me today that he thinks the car runs like new. That's what I was hoping to hear.
