Message Since most were wondering WTF was up with the new Altima coming out with 240hp (more than the current Maxima). Looks like Infiniti also announced the successor to the I30 (which is basically the Maxima with luxury foo-foo junk). The I35... Same VQ-engine but now a 3.5L putting out 260 hp. I'm betting the Maxima will be getting the same thing soon. That should put the Altima back in its place as little bro to Maxima. :-)

So now we know they can push 260 hp out of the VQ motor. New Z will probably have at least 280.. Wonder if they can free up 40 more hp and go for 300!
