There is no definitive answer because offset is dependent upon exact design of the wheel (problems with rubbing, etc) including its spokes (caliper clearance). Mass-produced wheels are made to certain known offsets, and the best they can do is match to an offset that will not cause problems. Multi-piece wheels, custom or not, have pre-made "inner" and "outer" or "inner", "outer", and "face" pieces; they have to mix and match the pieces to arrive at the correct wheel width and offset. That is why certain manufacturers will have offer a width of 8.5" but not 9", or 9.5" instead of 10". With all that said, nobody knows the exact offset of a well-fitting wheel better than the wheel manufacturer itself. The best anybody here can do is: 1) provide a range of offsets that will work 2) provide dimensions such as backspacing, etc 3) provide offsets for a specific wheel someone has already owned The best option is option 3. You will be treading new ground, literally, by options 1 and 2.
