| What a day. As Glenn already pointed out below, Greg Dupree of SpecialtyZ set a new record at 9.944 @ 139.78 with a blistering 1.48 60' time! All that with air conditioning, full stereo and interior. Simply awesome Greg! Earlier in the day he knocked out two 10.1s, one of which at 137mph, which led to a warning about needing a full cage and a license since he was over the 135mph limit. Despite that, we egged him on to give it one more run. Okay, who am I kidding, he was going to do it regardless. You could just tell he wanted it and boy did he deliver.  Don't let Greg's amazing run fool you as the day was chocked full of other great runs. Speaking of, Charles Park of Powertrix Racing set a record of his own by becoming the first stock turbo Z (with nitrous) in the 10s. Charles ran a 10.95 @ 125mph with a 1.58 60' time! In fact, that would be the quickest stock turbo Z of any sort in the country, would it not? I know I sure haven't heard of anyone that quick, nitrous or not. Unfortunately, the only camera out there had the batteries die during the burnout but here's the timeslip! 
When it comes to stock turbo cars, Mike (WXY on the forum) has set record after record running the quickest, non-nitrous Z32. All this with a 5-speed and a truckload of determination. Throughout the day he was knocking on the door of breaking the 11.63 record (in fact, running an 11.64 at one point). On the last run of the day, he went out there and shocked us all nailing an insane 11.47 @ 121.31mph with a 1.56 60' time! Un-effing-real. That's easily the quickest fully stock turbo car in the country, folks! If not the world. Check out the VIDEO. And the timeslip:
 As if all of the above wasn't enough, some other personal bests were set today. Seb took his Sport 700 car out for the first time in a while and rocketed right into the 10s with no nitrous by putting down a 10.84 @ 130mph! ZHound better watch out, that's two West Coast Zs with no nitrous in the 10s! In fact, Zo will be back very soon...with a few surprises in store, no doubt.  Not to be outdone, Joe Porcelli of Operation Z came out and put his stock turbo car into the 11s with a sensational 11.92 @ 113mph. In fact, he managed to beat my personal best by a mere hundreth of a second with less work done! Congratulations sir, you deserve an early spot on the 2006 list! Here's the slip:
 I should also mention that DrDean, now with SpecialtyZ, also put his beauty into the 10s and onto the 2006 list with a 10.96 @ 127mph. Minor issues with nitrous jets and such kept him to only a few real runs on the day, but rest assured he'll be breaking his own records this year as well. Stick with it Dean! Here's Dean's slip:
