...yes, in my opinion the driving stress is relatively low for the orr stuff, unless you get to the very high speeds. It is, however, pretty hard on equipment, and unbelievably fun. Anyone who has seriously raced on a track (I have a lot of motocross experience) knows that there is no way to replicate 10/10ths driving on a track. Similarly, there is no way to replicate such sustained high speeds on a real road. I love it. I have raced the Pony Express twice, go to [ www.openroadracing.com. ] With regards to diff oil temp, I have found that it is hard to get definitive answers on that stuff. My various inquiries have led me to conclude that a sustained 240ish is about as high as I would be comfortable with, and that is assuming synthetic oil. Based on what I've seen since I installed the temp sensor, I would bet that you are seeing diff temps in that range. It is not uncommon to see diff cooler setups on road course cars.
