Um..just about everything...socket sets, ratchets, nut drivers, screw drivers, metric set of wrenches, adjustable wrenches, etc. are some of the most basic tools you will need. Other tools you might find helpful are vice grips, a variety set of pliars, ratcheting box end wrenches, extensions and adaptors for the ratchets, channel lock pliars, etc. There is never going to be a complete list of tools you will need for working on anything. My advice would be to buy a good basic starting set that includes three sizes of ratchets, extensions, screwdrivers, wrenches, and allen wrenches. From there, accumulate other tools as you need them and go along. Tools are not cheap, so start with the essentials and go from there. Also, you might want to start looking in the local paper for old toolboxes full of tools that someone might want to give away. Tag sales are a great place to find tools. Good luck
