Message look the first thing you got to do is ditch the heck out of windows CE

replace it with some *nix distro, and see if someone has wirten driver files for it to talk to you pocket PC via the CD changer plugs. if someone has then you are in luck, complie and install. (freeBSD has a lot of ports for odd devices)

if not well..... you can do what we did and write your own driver file

if you are a real computer geek . and want uber good sound (AKA you are are an audiophile).... here is the basic of what we did...

minITX computer + 60 gig laptop hard dirve + A good sound card (as good as your car system) + mount this all where you can hide it.

Load it with freeBSD and wite a drive file to talk to your head unit as if it were the cd changer, alt input, ..etc

ok that was the short and sweet version. google for the longer and more complete wite up.

(me and my cusion did this on his VW)

I guess you don't have to use freeBSD, any *nix distro should work, but we used freeBSD for it's long uptime and it slimed down just the way we wanted it to.

yeah I know we are real geeks, no store bought solutions here... IPODs Phones? you got to be kidden me that would just be to easy.
