You spray a very light coat of silver paint on the bulbs. This hides the orange when looking at the corner, but it still flashes yellow, and at the normal speed. So, cops don't bother you because they think you are a ricer. If you want to go a step further like I did, tape off the bottom half or so of the bulb and just spray the top half lightly. That way the orange reflects out of the back of the bulb, off the reflector, and out of teh lens. Looks 100% stock. And a can of paint is still cheaper than buying those silver bulbs that flash orange; and when a bulb burns out, it's dirt cheap to spray another one and replace it. I use this in both my clear fronts and rears. Been like that for 4 or more years now, no problems with fading, or the law.
