| In a first, I actually have high quality video of one of my drag runs. This one happens to be of my first 11-second stock turbo pass just last year. Big thanks to TheTwinz for getting this to me, albeit many months later ;) Closeup launch - 11.93 @ 114mph The video is nice and all but it's the sound that got my attention. Since about a year ago my Apexi BOVs (don't buy them, get HKS if you must get BOVs) have changed their sound somehow. Instead of a straight "psssh" sound like the airbrakes on a city bus, they make this strange fluttering sound. Now, I've heard Greddys that sound similar but I'm wondering what could have changed to cause this. I inspected them and they look fine but I'm extremely anal (shocking) and it has always bugged me because I've never heard any Z quite like it. In all the video I have, this is the first one that clearly illustrates it. You'll hear it at the end of the burnout. Compressor surge? Freak occurance? Worrying for nothing? It's really quite a bit more obvious in person. In fact maybe three-four times as loud and that's sitting inside the car at any given time. As such, any ideas are appreciated. Even if it's "shut up and enjoy the car you anal noob". =) Thanks for your time.
