Was just wondering what fellow "z" lovers or basically "their own car" lovers would do...I'm a 3rd year college student and i worked 2 & a half years in high school for it...over the years i've had problems with it as far as starter, alternator, clutch, replacing the harness, rear main seal and now the steering rack and pinion (hopefully just the bushings though)...anyway, my dad has offered to have my car sold along with the explorer we have to get me the new mustang (5-speed but not the gt)...he's given me a lot of sh*t about it over the years since he said used cars will be a headache and wanted me to put my money in towards a new corolla initially...i've never asked him for any money besides for tires...this car is part of my pride and something that i've earned and worked for on my own...he doesn't want me putting any more money into it...am i being overly prideful or stubborn by not wanting him to sell my car and take the mustang?
