| get across to the folks here. I suppose the speculation that comes from people when I say something is really the fuel that drives me to actually do the things I do. I've been nudging people into the idea of using 3" exhaust systems since my first hand experience with some high horsepowered Z32s that were equipped with it. I also have more questions than answers at this moment though concerning what happens when you introduce backpressure into the system at low-RPM before the turbine itself actually begins to create backpressure on the engine. At low RPM, the turbine wheel isn't really producing any backpressure at all - look at the turbine flow map and you'll see that its efficiency is incredibly low at these low flow and pressures - this is due to the fact that the wheel just isn't "grabbing" the air yet. Regardless, I still look forward to seeing what you guys come up with and I'll be sharing data the details about what exactly I'm doing with my exhaust that makes it pretty unique. Keep up the good work!
