Message 1. If you don’t know your car, don’t install this yourself. The boost controller obviously helps you control your boost levels especially for increased boost. It is also more precise and controls the wastegates closer for preferred performance. If you want a detailed how does this work explanation, I am not the one to explain. We do have people that like to type that much, so maybe they will.

2. You are not going to get extra HP. The most you can expect is a few degrees lower on water temp from the extra air to the radiator possibly. I think 9/10 people who do that mod, are doing it for the looks and not performance. If you don’t fall into that category, save the $100 for something else.

3. This is a simple DIY job. I don’t agree with FL ZX that the white gauges look good. I think they look cheap, but that is my personal opinion. The gauge rings simply glue into place. Taking apart the cluster is not difficult either, pull the pods, pull the top dash mount, undo the remaining screws, unclip the wires to the cluster and bam,, it is out.

FL ZX made a very good point however if you do put face plates over the current gauges. Make sure to glue them down very good. Otherwise the needles will stick and you won’t have any accurate readings.
